Hosted by New Beginnings UMC (hosts of the Delaware Turkey Trot), this 5K Obstacle Course Mud Run is held on a farm in Delaware, OH. You’ll have to trudge through mud, crawl, hop, climb, pull yourself through and over obstacles, and you’ll have a blast doing it. This is a family friendly environment, with a Kid’s Course open as well. There are hills, trails, creek crossings, obstacles (some muddy, some not) that you’ll have to navigate through.
This Mud run is different than other mud runs. It’s not only an obstacle course mud run, but it is on a farm and is farm themed. You’ll have farm-themed obstacles, like a chicken coop crawl, hay bale climb, plus plenty of other obstacles. Plus the kids will love seeing the goats, and other animals on the farm as well. On top of that, it is a run that gives back. See below for where 100% of the proceeds are donated. Participants of the Farm Mudder will receive a t-shirt, a medal, and post race snacks and drinks.
Each participant is chip-timed and will have live access to their results online. Plus each participant will have access to a video of them crossing the finish line (each person’s chip will be detected by the finish line, and they will be recorded that way).
a little history?
We started doing mud runs on the farm in 2015. Since then, we have had the pleasure of running over 1000 middle school and high school students through a 2.1 mile, 20 obstacle mud run on the farm. The goal was to work in teams of 15-20 runners and complete all 20 obstacles as a team.
