About the Farm and the Delaware Farm Mudder

Why a farm mudder?(continued....)

We at Harvest Hills Farm started doing mud runs on the farm in 2015.  Since then, we have had the pleasure of running over 1000 middle school and high school students through a 2.1 mile, 20 obstacle mud run on the farm.  The goal was to work in teams of 15-20 runners and complete all 2o obstacles as a team.

In September of 2018 we had our first Farm Mudder, and opened the mud run to the community in Ohio.  In order to do this though, we had to change a few things.

  • We extended the run to a full 5k

  • We had to make sure that the race was suited for more than just teenagers, by adding more challenges and harder obstacles

  • We added a professional race organizer and timing company

  • We added an awesome kid's run

  • Each runner receives a t-shirt, a medal, and photos and video of their finish line cross
